Google Nexus 10 Stuff
This guide assumes using Ubuntu Linux.
Developer Settings
On the tablet:
- Settings -> About -> Click multiple times on "Build-Number"
- Settings-> Developer Options -> USB-Debugging -> on
On your computer:
Unlock
For Android 4 + 5
- Turn the tablet off
- Hold Vol+, Vol- and Power to go into fastboot mode
- sudo fastboot devices
- Check if device was found
- sudo fastboot oem unlock
Install Clockword Recovery
For Android 4
- Turn the tablet off
- Hold Vol+, Vol- and Power to go into fastboot mode
- Download newest recovery from https://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
- sudo fastboot devices
- Check if device was found
- sudo fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.7-manta.img
- sudo fastboot reboot
Root

For Android 4
- Device needs to be unlocked
- Boot tablet
- Open Chrome
- Download http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/Nexus10/Nexus10RootNew.zip
- (or download the file on your computer, connect usb cable, select camera mode and copy the file into "Pictures")
- Turn the tablet off
- Hold Vol+, Vol- and Power to go into fastboot mode
- Go to recovery by pressing Vol+ until "Recovery" appears and click the power button
- Install from zip, got to directory "0", then "Download" and select the Nexus10RootNew.zip file
- Install and reboot
Downgrade from 5.0 Lollipop to 4.4.4 Kitkat

- Download 4.4.4 image from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and unzip it
- sudo fastboot devices
- Check if device was found
- ./flash-all.sh
